BETHESDA, MD — Tend — a dental provider offering exams, cosmetic services, preventative screenings and more — is planning to open in North Bethesda's Pike & Rose this spring.

Tend says it aims to be the first dental provider that people actually look forward to going to, and quotes its average office wait time at 3 minutes.

It has six offices in Washington, D.C., 11 in New York City, two in Boston and two in Atlanta. The company was first launched in 2019 and said it aims to provider care that is "hassle-free, personalized, and straightforward, with a focus on patient happiness—all in a calm, inviting, and thoughtfully-designed space," a news release says.

The office will open at 1580 Old Georgetown Road in North Bethesda.
