Police say five more victims have now come forward and further charges are likely.

The 31-year-old claims he’s innocent and on Friday asked to be released from prison.

But a decision on whether to allow the alleged rapist out on bail, while he waits for trial, was postponed.

Police allege a teenage girl was drugged and date raped twice by Mr Mehrabi while she was unconscious.

The Perth Magistrates Court was on Friday shown CCTV of the dentist allegedly slipping something into the drink of another victim while on a date.

After passing out, the 22-year-old later escaped from Mr Mehrabi’s car and ran to the Bull Creek Train Station for help.

A preliminary toxicology report revealed she had MDMA and pholcodine, an opioid cough medicine, in her system that can have a sedative effect.

Police say the victim didn’t use medication.

The accused is a dentist and a medical student - both trusted professions - but he allegedly duped women over dating apps.

Mr Mehrabi says he is innocent and that the sex was consenual.

He does not have a criminal record, but is facing decades behind bars if convicted.
