AUSTIN, Texas, US: DentalMonitoring offers orthodontic and dental solutions and is a pioneer of the remote monitoring of dental care using artificial intelligence (AI). The company announced in May that it has launched a new virtual platform that brings together a range of AI-driven workflows and tools. According to the company, its new Virtual Practice Platform allows dentists and orthodontists to optimise their operations and provide a comprehensive, lifelong patient experience that will help to boost revenue streams.
The company was founded in 2014 with the aim of developing disruptive AI-driven technology specifically for dentists and orthodontists. DentalMonitoring said in a press release that its new platform was groundbreaking, and this claim may be justified.

Virtual Practice Platform uses a suite of intelligent workflows and tools to create a partnership between dentists and their patients. By means of the software, clinicians will be able to optimise treatment, monitor patient care and identify, engage, qualify and convert leads. They will also have opportunities to benefit from new revenue streams.
DentalMonitoring said that it was launching the platform at a time of increasing demand for remote and intelligent oral care and growing patient expectations. By launching the technology, the company aims to spearhead a wider transformation for dental practices that seek to benefit from data management, streamlined communication and operational efficiency. Dentists and orthodontists will be able to safely address a variety of orthodontic cases, optimise chair time, lead engagement and benefit from post-treatment monetisation, the company stated.
Alexandra van der Stap, chief growth officer at DentalMonitoring’s DM Labs business unit, commented: “Through AI-powered clinical analysis, this platform also allows dental health professionals to monitor everything from hygiene, oral health and retention to critical tooth movements in braces and aligners treatments.”
Dr Philippe Salah, CEO of DentalMonitoring, said: “The Virtual Practice Platform transforms care by allowing for lifetime patient engagement as well as practice optimisation.” He added: “This innovation is a testament to our forward-thinking mindset led by an incredible team that I’m extremely proud of.”
