Collingwood Art on the Street will return in 2022, with an outdoor gallery of hand-painted chairs by artists of all ages.

The Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA) invites visual artists to submit chair designs to Collingwood Art on the Street 2022. Now in its 10th year, this annual project showcases the diversity and talent of our creative community while enlivening the streets of Collingwood from spring to fall.

This year’s theme is “Colour!” as we invite artists to showcase the vibrant colours of our community. Artists are invited to submit their designs for the chairs by April 14.

The artists selected to participate will be recognized on the chair and in a special e-brochure showcased on the Collingwood Downtown website and social media channels. An honorarium of $250 will be paid to the successful artists per chair design selected.

The chairs will enhance our historic downtown core and will be a welcome sight and resting place for residents and visitors.
