On Thursday, International Youth Day was celebrated at HCDSH for the school students.The students of New Academic Heights Public School, Hazaribag were invited for the function and with great support from Z.N. Phillips (Principal),  Akhilesh (Teacher) represented the school and accompanied the delegates with active participation in the sessions organized.There were lectures for the delegates in which they were encouraged and enlightened about the scopes  and application of Bachelor's of Dental Surgery and Masters of Dental Surgery. A dental tour in all the departments was given to the delegates with another active chair side discussion. The event was charted under the supervision of our honorable Secretary,  HCDSH, Dr. Praveen Srinivas. Dr. K. Sri Krishna (Principal and H.O.D in Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology) extended his unconditional support for this event. An eco-friendly toothbrush as a token of appreciation was handed over to all the delegates by Dr. Sudhanshu Saxena (Vice-Principal and H.O.D in Department of Public Health Dentistry). The program was organized and co-ordinated by Dr Vipin Ahuja(H.O.D & Professor), Dr. Swati Singh ( Reader), Dr.JayaVerma (Senior Lecturer) Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, with our post graduate students, Dr. Swati Murmu and Dr. Subhadip Biswas. We will be continuing the trend of International Youth Day celebration annually with different schools so that the children can explore the opportunities and also get benefited  by the knowledge shared.
