FAIRFIELD — Free health screenings are part of a community health fair for residents who were formerly incarcerated.
The Center for Employment Opportunities is hosting the event scheduled from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday 1411 Oliver Road, Suite 120.
Providers from the Touro University California, including the Touro Mobile Diabetes Education Unit, will be there. Drug Safe Solano will provide Narcan education and training. Covid-related and mental health services also will be available.
Other service providers include La Clinica; Vallejo Transitions Clinic (health care and dental, plus Medi-Cal sign-up support); OLE Health, Fairfield (health care and dental, plus medical sign-up support); CalFresh; and the Food Bank or Contra Costa and Solano.
